Profile
I am project support for Le Va's Futures that Work Programme. My role primarily focuses on supporting the team to achieve our goals, and engaging with tertiary students.
I have a Bachelor's degree in commerce majoring in accounting and finance, and am currently doing a postgradute degree in commerce.
In the last five years I have been involved in Pacific youth-focused equity initiatives and mentoring, such as the Mates mentoring programme and Dream fono. I'm also currently the Tuakana programme coordinator for the University of Auckland Business School, which focuses on mentoring and tutoring first year Pacific and Maori business students.
I am a New Zealand born Samoan, raised in Mangere, Auckland. I am very proud of my Samoan heritage and it definitely defines my upbringing. My father is from Faleasi'u and my mother from Fusi Safotulafai and Leauva'a.
I look forward to helping bring general health to a forefront focus as a career for our Pacific people.
