Whanau support worker PALMERSTON NORTH We are seeking a motivated, qualified and experienced family/whanau support worker to deliver a new service that is being set up to improve the mental health of offenders in the community as part of the Palmerston North community corrections team. The right candidate will hold an appropriate qualification in the mental health field and have at least three years' experience working with families/whanau. You will work in the community directly with family/whanau of offenders in order to improve family/whanau outcomes, and to enhance the transition of prisoners back into their communities. You will utilise your knowledge of local, regional and national networks to deliver this support, while working alongside Pact and Department of Corrections team members to align this support with the offender's treatment plan.
