About the database of NZ mental health research

The Te Pou library includes the database of New Zealand mental health research, which provides information about recent and ongoing research projects. The database is an avenue for researchers to promote their work and a central place for people working in the sector to find out who is undertaking research, and what recent research is available.

Te Pou invites researchers to promote their research via the database. Mental health and addiction research projects which are published, unpublished or currently in progress can be submitted. The research focuses on:

  • assessment and diagnosis
  • biological research
  • epidemiology and risk factors
  • clinical treatment
  • practice research
  • workforce training and development
  • service systems research
  • prevention and promotion.

We are also interested in grey literature produced by academics, policy makers, service providers, service users and health professionals which may not be commercially published, widely distributed or easily found through traditional channels. Grey literature could include theses or dissertations, conference papers, research and evaluation reports, and occasional papers.

Research can be submitted by completing a simple online form (click the button below) or by contacting the project team.
