ADOM Implementation - Information for Services and Key Stakeholders

Author: Te Pou
Publication date: 11 October 2012

Information for services considering voluntary implementation of ADOM – September 2012 onwards

Te Pou and Matua Raki have developed this document to provide answers to some of the questions that are being asked about ADOM and its implementation. The frequently asked questions (FAQ) section provides information about the Alcohol and Drug Outcome Measure (ADOM), some of the more technical questions related to ADOM data/information, and further information about the process and support for services who may consider voluntary implementation of ADOM from 1 September 2012.

While ADOM implementation is voluntary at this stage, the Ministry of Health has indicated it intends to mandate ADOM as part of the PRIMHD national collection within the next few years.
