Disability grant funding: Maori grant recipients to October 2011
Author: Te PouPublication date: 29 November 2011
Te Pou’s Disability Workforce Development programme administers grant funding on behalf of the Ministry of Health, including:
- a training grant for approved formal national certificates and diplomas
- an open round training grant for non-NZQA short courses
- a leadership development grant for people working in, or who have the potential to move into, leadership roles
- a consumer leadership development grant.
This factsheet summarises information on Māori grant recipients to October 2011. This includes Māori and mainstream disability support services. Information about ethnicity is provided by organisations in grant funding application forms. As a result, this factsheet likely includes conservative estimates of Māori grant recipients.
