Handover issue 18 - Summer 2012

Author: Te Pou
Publication date: 26 January 2012

Handover is Te Pou's quarterly electronic nursing newsletter about mental health and addiction nurses.

In this edition there is a strong focus on the exciting sensory modulation work underway within the sector. We also take a look at the recent Skills Matter student survey and provide an insight into the motivation behind Toni Dal Din, associate director of nursing (Mental Health Directorate) for Capital and Coast DHB. There are also regular columns from the regional workforce coordinators, and Te Pou’s Carolyn Swanson, Mark Smith and Anne McDonald plus lots of useful information in the Nursing Digest.

Handover endeavours to be the place where you can read about innovation and relevant programmes that are enhancing the knowledge of mental health and addiction nurses and people using services. We welcome articles of interest to mental health and addiction nurses so if you have something to contribute, please let us know!
