Outcomes information

Outcomes informationImagine being able to see, at a glance, how a person’s recovery is progressing and how well providers are delivering services. Collecting outcomes information helps us do just that.

While Te Pou’s information work includes data and figures, it’s about more than numbers. It’s about real people, real lives and real recovery.

By collecting accurate information, clinicians can build a detailed picture of an individual’s treatment and progress, supporting their recovery. Outcomes information is also used to assess service effectiveness at DHB, NGO and national levels (including Casemix).

Te Pou supports services to collect information and use it effectively. We support mental health clinicians, advisors, managers and leaders by providing tools, training, networking opportunities and resources. Our support includes ensuring we assist organsiations to be PRIMHD compliant and to use outcomes measures.

Te Pou also assists services to engage with service users to monitor and measure changes in service users’ well-being.

Collectively, this work contributes to the best possible care for people with experience of mental illness and addiction.
