National Mental Health and Addiction Nursing Reference Group

Te Pou facilitates an external reference group for mental health and addiction nurses to keep us focused on sector priorities. The primary purpose of this group is to:

  • work in partnership with the sector regarding activities that impact on mental health and addiction nurses
  • provide an avenue for feedback to Te Pou regarding the mental health and addiction nursing sector perspectives on workforce needs
  • encourage and facilitate collaboration on agreed mental health and addiction nursing workforce priorities
  • provide an opportunity for direct consultation both to and from the sector.
