Information use training
In addition to providing outcomes training, Te Pou also provides information use training. This training focuses on using the outcome measurement collections in PRIMHD but also uses KPI and Knowing the People Planning (KPP) information.
The training is aimed at particular sector groups: clinicians in DHBs, managers in DHBs, NGOs, service users and family advisors.
The training uses the information levels mentioned in the data use guidelines, and shows how to use information at DHB, team and clinician-service user levels. There is an emphasis on showing how different information connects up to have meaning at the clinical or service level.
The training includes a whanau wellbeing component on how information use can engage with Maori.
This training is tailored to the particular needs of the DHB or NGO concerned, using information from PRIMHD.
