Asian Mental Health Training and Development CD (Centre for Asian Health Research and Evaluation, University of Auckland, 2008)
This resource is made up of three modules – self-reflection, Asian philosophy and clinical issues. The modules include information on • Asian worldview, beliefs and philosophies, help seeking behaviours, special considerations for refugees, a table of considerations when providing therapy, videos from Asian clinicians, references and links to other resources. This open access research paper describes the needs of practice nurses in mental health education and explores an involvement with patients with mental health concerns. The need for collaboration between secondary mental health services, primary mental health nurse and tertiary institutions is highlighted. This collaboration combined with targeted education is anticipated to result in a more confident and competent workforce.

Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) in New Zealand; What you and your family and whānau need to know (New Zealand Ministry of Health, 2009)

Health Translations Directory (Victorian Government Health Information )
This user-friendly directory offers reliable links to translated online health resources from government departments, peak health bodies, hospitals, community health centres and welfare agencies. A great resource for health practitioners working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities can use this directory. Open access to over 10,302 multilingual resources is provided.
