Allan joined Te Pou in February 2020. He works closely with the programme and project leads to advance the communications activities and strategies for Te Pou. Allan has many years' experience working in medical research, medical publishing, tertiary teaching and communications.
Allan holds a PhD in English literature and creative practice. His thesis focused on methods of characterisation in 17th-century narrative poetry and their application in contemporary literature. He also has a BSc in molecular biology, graduate and postgraduate diplomas in literature and an MA in English.
