Alana Clark
Special projects & training lead
I feel privileged to work across both Te Pou and Matua Raki supporting a wide variety of projects, including all sorts of training and events. I'm lucky in that I get to work with lots of people across the organisation and in the sector and continually feel inspired by the dedication of the many people I meet.
I have a background in psychology and health education. More recently I have enjoyed roles working in residential care for people with complex and high need disabilities, in medical education, and in primary care quality improvement.
My current projects include:
- Te Pou and Matua Raki training and events
- service user, consumer and peer workforce events
- mental health and addiction community support workforce
- Substance Addiction (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 2017
- From health service to healthy communities: Enabling compassionate healthcare.
