I am new to the Te Pou team, and very excited about being able to help support workforce development for the mental health and addiction sector, and honoured to join such a dedicated and knowledgeable team.
I have been involved with allied health delivery for a number of years, working for an NGO, and have previously had DHB and private hospital experience.
In my most recent management role, my team delivered health education services to a number of people with lived experience of mental health issues. I have a understanding of health promotion, service delivery, especially alongside primary care, contract management and tender negotiation. In my previous role, my team led several initiatives to develop national best practice for our sector, including establishing training days and national seminars.
In addition to qualifications in exercise science, psychology, management and project management, I have a post graduate diploma in Public Health.
