Shona Clarke

Research assistant

Shona Clarke sadly passed away on 16 February 2018. Shona joined Te Pou in 2015 as a research assistant and has been a very valued member of the workforce planning team and of Te Pou.  She was passionate about effecting change for people accessing mental health and addiction services and her work has been reflective of this.

Shona had 14 years’ experience working in mental health in a variety of roles including that of youth consumer advisor project leader at the Werry Centre and was a mental health promoter at the Mental Health Foundation.

Shona’s work included mental health research and policy. She had a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and was studying towards her Masters.

We extend our condolences to Shona’s whānau. She will be sadly missed by her Te Pou whānau and sector colleagues.
