Training needs analysis

When it comes to planning workforce training, an effective first step is to undertake a training needs analysis (TNA).

A TNA looks at skills, knowledge and behaviours the workforce needs, and how to develop them effectively. This ensures training is directly aligned with performance gaps and resources are used efficiently.

A TNA can be undertaken at an organisational, team/department or individual level.
