Addiction Leadership Day Christchurch

The National Committee for Addiction Treatment (NCAT) will host the final Addiction Leadership Day of 2021 in collaboration with Te Pou. The event will take place at Canterbury University in Christchurch on 16 November 2021, and will be open to approximately 110 leaders from the addiction sector. People in leadership positions within the addiction sector can register.

Theme of the day:
The theme for the day will be workforce development. Speakers and workshops will explore the significant challenges faced by the addiction treatment sector in building, retaining, and developing its specialised and in-demand workforce.

Please note: This event will only take place if all of Aotearoa New Zealand is at Alert Level 1. If this does not happen, the event will not be postponed. In it's place we will host a zoom hui for any interested in catching up and touching base with their national colleagues.
