Equally Well webinar - Expanding possibilities

Expanding possibilities brought together our learnings and experiences as a collaborative. The Zoom screen was filled with champions as we strengthened the Equally Well movement through the creation of champion-driven action hubs.

Based on feedback from you so far, we have been able to populate our diagram with several named hubs (partner driven action groups). Here is a visual of an Equally Well ecosystem structure with interconnected hubs of actions led by people and organisations with particular interests or strengths.

Thanks to participants who shared some of their reflections:

“Things are moving ahead. People are motivated to be part of the solution. Hope is in the future.”

“The large amount of work that has gone into this initiative and the commitment to further development. That Equally Well is everyone's business.”

And as Dr Helen Lockett reminded us in her summary presentation: “Community change doesn’t just happen. Change occurs when a leader invites others to join them or a group of leaders come together because they want to build something new or are dissatisfied and want to shift the status quo” (Liz Weaver, 2019).

Become part of the movement and help make a difference for the people your service or organisation supports.

Keep your eye out on these web pages and through the Equally Well e-news for ongoing Equally Well champions 'lunchtime' meet ups. We know that by working together, we can create lasting change!
