Kia Noho Rangatira Ai Tātou is a unique education programme that puts human rights of disabled people and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities into a New Zealand cultural context.
The two-day interactive programme has a practical focus on applying the Disability Convention. Developed and delivered by disabled people, the programme is highly relevant for disability support services and disabled people to ensure that disabled people’s human rights are upheld.
This workshop for disability support services (DSS) staff is aimed at those who provide direct support, team leaders, managers, and those with responsibility for learning and development within organisations.
This two-day programme is led by disabled people and has an applied focus which places the UNCRPD in the unique human rights context of Aotearoa.
