What is a Mental Health First Aid refresher course?

• Refresher courses allow people who have previously completed a 12-hour Mental Health
• First Aid (MHFA) Aotearoa course to refresh their knowledge and skills. This provides an opportunity to extend their MHFA accreditation for a further three years.

Gain an understanding of the local research in the mental health field.

• Learn the three key actions to help someone who is feeling suicidal.
• Work through complex mental health first aid interactions.
• Practice mental health first aid skills.

• 2 sessions: 9am-12:30 and 1pm-4:30pm
• Max 12 people
• $360+Gst/person
• You will need to bring your own manual from your previous training
