Our next MindMeet event is a discussion about LGBTIQ++ experiences in mental health and health facilitated by Isedora Lewis. Isedora (Izzy) is part of the GLBTI community and has been a counsellor for over twenty years working in the areas of disability, mental health and has a special interest in Selective Mutism. Since 2017 she has been tutoring the Foundation Course at Whiteria Community Polytechnic. Alongside her academic work she runs a private practice, Pandora’s Services. Izzy is also the head instructor at Sanchin Kempo Karate, Godan (5th degree Black Belt).

The format for this MindMeet is a short presentation and then an open discussion, participants are welcome to come with questions, ideas or case studies. There will be an opportunity to socialise before (from 5.45pm) and also afterwards. Nibbles are provided. The cost is $10 (free for NZPSs members).
