Due to high demand of this supervision training we have closed EOI's early. Places will be confirmed early February, but are very limited to 20 participants. We appreciate your patience while we work through our processes.

Te Pou is pleased to announce a Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand-funded Supervision Skills training opportunity available to senior addiction practitioners (DAPAANZ) (Te Whatu Ora and NGO) within the mental health and addiction sector.

This training is delivered over three days online.

  • Session 1 – Monday, 10 March 2025 - 9am to 4:30pm
  • Session 2 – Monday, 17 March 2025 - 9am to 4:30pm
  • Session 3 – Monday, 14 April 2025 - 9am to 1pm

This will be delivered by Aly McNicoll.

To be eligible, you must be a registered health practitioner who supports new DAPAANZ practitioners (up to two years in their role). This may include currently being in a supervision role or moving into a supervision role.

We are limited to 20 funded places.

You must be available for these three separate days, without interruptions, have access to your own device with reliable internet and have approval from your manager to attend.

This is a Level 5 NZQA course – with 5 credits (micro credentialed). There is a commitment to a practical assignment and readings. The peer supervision component is a tool kit for peer supervision which is an effective model of support.

Register your interest in attending
by completing the form below, we will then allocate spaces and places will be confirmed early February 2025.
