Support worker webinar – Tātou tātou: being with people and whānau

Please only register if you are employed in a support worker role. These interactive webinars are designed specifically for the support workforce.

Te Pou is hosting a series of online workshops for support workers working in mental health and addiction services. The theme of the webinars is Engagement – Building trust and connection with people you are supporting.

This session is based on the Let’s get real Tātou tātou: being with people and whānau resources.

Learn the importance of engagement and its link to wellbeing, cultural considerations when connecting with people and tips for effective engagement and communication.

These webinars are a chance to refresh your knowledge and reflect on how you engage and connect with people in your support worker role.
