A first for Tairāwhiti, six Marae based Takiwātanga Wānanga will be delivered on six Marae from Tikitiki to Te Karaka. Come along and learn about Autism Spectrum from a Māori world view. You will learn from indigenous speakers who are experts in their chosen field. You will learn from whānau who will talk about what 'Whānau Takiwātanga' life is like, the good, bad and the ugly.
If you are a tumuaki, kaiako, kaimahi, teacher, teachers-aide, SENCO, health professional, business owner, employer, Police officer, Lawyer, care-giver, mental health worker, Iwi representative, student, youth worker and want to learn how to better support Taonga Takiwātanga in your workspace then this Professional Development Wānanga is for you!
