The Addiction Consumer Leadership Group and Te Pou invite you to a webinar focused on the consumer, peer support and lived experience workforce in the addiction sector. Topics that will be explored include:
- Lessons learnt when creating and implementing peer initiatives (when you’re not a peer or in a dedicated peer role)
- Updates on the Consumer, Peer Support and Lived Experience Workforce Action Plan and Competencies
- Examples of how the competencies have been used
- Training, supervision and mentoring for the peer workforce
Everyone is welcome to attend this webinar. People working in a peer or consumer role in the addiction sector and anyone who is currently supporting or looking to develop addiction consumer, peer support or lived experience roles will find it particularly relevant.
Please note that the webinar will be recorded and made available for future viewing if you are unable to make it.
