The co-existing problems initiative is a joint workforce project led by Te Pou and Matua Raki. The tools and resources can be found on the Matua Raḵi website.
Services that are aware of the needs of tāngata whai ora accessing their services, can plan workforce development activities and service design to better address those needs.
A brief tool designed for mental health and addiction/AOD services to self-assess, reflect and plan service level co-existing problems (CEP) responsiveness and capability.
This framework describes the knowledge and skills required by the mental health and addiction workforce to be able to effectively respond to the needs of people, and their families and whānau, with co-existing problems.
