Training schedules: health improvement practitioner and health coach training

Training cohorts

The following dashboards are for employers of health improvement practitioners (HIPs) and health coaches (HCs), to see when training is occurring and the number of places available which may help with recruitment planning. The dashboards are updated twice a week, so places are subject to change at short notice.

Please contact krystal.hosken@tepou.co.nz if you would like to reserve a place or be added to the waitlist. Registrations need to be received within 2 weeks of the training commencing, and all the prerequisites must be met.

Training for health improvement practitioners

This dashboard shows the start dates for upcoming trainings and the number of places available for each cohort. There is a maximum of eight trainees per cohort. Depending on Covid alert levels, training is held either in person over five days in the region with the most trainees, or virtually over eight half days. To see an outline of the programme and the trainee prerequisites, please visit our health improvement practitioner webpage.

Training for health coaches

This dashboard shows the start dates for upcoming trainings, who the training provider is, and the number of places available in each cohort. There is a maximum of 12 trainees per cohort. For more information about the health coach training programmes, please visit our health coach webpage.
