We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our team.  You will be responsible for providing high-level administration support to the Pathways team.

You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm, while the position is based in our Manukau office, you will also spend time based at sites across the region.

We’re looking for an innovative self-starter to join our team and help ensure the smooth running of our region. To be successful in this role you’ll need previous administrative experience, excellent communication skills, great computer skills, to be flexible and able to work under pressure.



At Pathways we're passionate about supporting people with experience of mental illness or addictions - we’ve been dedicated to it for 30 years. We provide community-based mental health, addiction and wellbeing services throughout New Zealand, supporting around 6000 adults and young people in communities all through New Zealand each year to live well in the communities of their choice.


The Team

You’ll be reporting to the Service and Relationship Manager and joining our Pathways Auckland team.



We are interested to hear from people who have top notch written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team while having impeccable attention to detail.

  • You must have at least 3 years administration experience
  • You must hold a New Zealand full driver’s license
  • You must hold a current first aid certificate, or be willing to obtain one
  • You will have working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • You’re a great listener, the sort of person who will listen deeply to the people who use our services
  • You’re a fresh thinker, using curiosity and imagination to generate new ideas
  • You’re energising, inspiring others with enthusiasm and a take action approach
  • You’re a communicator, the sort of positive person who loves working with people
