AH23-188 - ​Registered Health Clinician – Te Roopu Kimiora, Mental Health & Addiction Services (2.6 FTE, permanent)

About the role


Right now, we are looking for exceptional registered health clinicians with experience in delivering therapeutic interventions to join a dynamic and friendly Child & Adolescent service in permanent roles working up to 24 - 40 hours per week based in Whangarei.


Our ideal candidates will be a highly motivated team player, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with children, young people and their whānau.


This role offers opportunities which include case management, assessment, monitoring, varied group work and liaison across the health sector. You will liaise with Hospital Health Services, community agencies and other child and youth specific organisations (e.g. Schools, GP’s, Youth Centres) to increase access to specialist care for children and youth requiring the services of mental health professionals.


Applicants need to possess a willingness to professionally develop and be a positive team member.

The salary range for this role is from $59,035 - $90,534.

Our ideal candidate will be:

· A qualified health professional with a recognised health qualification and registration with professional organisation, such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work Annual Practising Certificate

· Experienced with working in a multi-disciplinary team

· Able to display a working knowledge and have at least two years’ experience of professional practice in the area of Mental Health/Psychiatry ideally working with young people

· Excellent in written and verbal communication skills

· Committed to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
