Work as part of the AOD Programme Team delivering a suite of AOD evidence-based interventions for people with substance issues, mental health distress and social challenges.
We are seeking a fulltime AOD clinician to work as part of the AOD Programme Team delivering a suite of AOD evidence-based interventions for people with substance issues, mental health distress and social challenges. The role is based in Palmerston North and requires a competent AOD clinician who will lead the quality improvement of the AOD clinical practice/programme and delivery AOD treatment interventions. The successful applicant will be highly motivated and proficient in working with a diverse group of stakeholders across the AOD and mental health sector.
Hours:
Monday to Friday working 8am through until 5pm
The role requires:
- a great attitude and passion to support people to achieve their potential.
- competent clinical practice demonstrated through comprehensive assessments, AOD treatment planning and case notes.
- working from an AOD evidence-based recovery approach.
- minimum five years’ experience working in an AOD service/programme.
- hold a registration under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance (HPCA) Act or have a recognised social work qualification or DAPAANZ (registered alcohol and drug practitioner and/or gambling practitioner).
