Case Manager - Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIS)

The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIS) is a community based assessment and treatment service for adolescents and young adults who may be experiencing symptoms of psychosis and require specialist care

An opportunity exists for an experienced and qualified Health Professional to join our EIS multidisciplinary team in Nelson on a permanent, full-time basis, (working 80 hours a fortnight -1.0FTE).

Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

Comprehensive assessments, intervention and discharge planning in collaboration with youth and their families
Excellent interpersonal /communication skills
Ability to manage a specific case load
A positive attitude towards change and challenge
A non-confrontational approach to problem solving and conflict resolution
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
High standards of practice and a commitment to delivering evidence based best practice
Knowledge of community resources
Demonstrated ability to work cross-culturally

You must be a NZ registered health professional with previous experience in mental health and working with youth.
