We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to lead our acute admitting mental health adult inpatient unit located on Auckland’s North Shore Hospital campus. If you have a passion for working with a diverse and dynamic group of nursing, allied health and medical staff and if management and leadership is where you want to be, then consider this senior position.
The Charge Nurse Manager of He Puna Waiora will bring with them a clear vision for leading a recovery-oriented inpatient service in this diverse and challenging environment. The role works hand in hand with the adult senior leadership group and community admitting teams from across the district..
The right person will have a passion for and dedication to adult acute inpatient mental health care, a contemporary and evidence based approach to clinical and professional practice, and exemplary leadership skills and knowledge. You will be a positive nursing identity and an advocate for the multi-disciplinary team approach to mental health care.
You will be skilled at managing working partnerships and committed to a collaborative and comprehensive approach to adult mental health care as a member of the adult services management team and clinical governance group. You will be committed to professional development and progression for the multidisciplinary team.
Primary Location: North Shore Hospital – He Puna Waiora Adult Acute Admission Unit
Schedule: Full time (1FTE) Monday to Friday business hours, with availability to an on call roster.
