We’re looking for an inspirational leader to join our Pathways’ team as our Clinical Director.
You’ll provide clinical governance and leadership across the organisation and be a key member of the Pathways Executive team. You will ensure best practice, models of wellbeing, trauma informed care and our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity are at the heart of what we do.
In your role you will provide organisation wide leadership of our clinical practices across our Pathways and Real services. You will actively support the provision of quality, robust services that continuously exceed organisational objectives and support us to be a “learn it all” organisation.
You’ll have the highest verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence and to work in collaboration with others. As a natural networker you’ll develop close relationships with important stakeholders like Clinical Directors of DHB’s, primary care providers, other NGO’s and the Pathways and Real teams. You’ll develop excellent relationships and provide advice and support to the Pathways executive.
You’ll have a passion for developing our clinical workforce, identifying professional training opportunities and connecting them to mental health, addiction, youth and peer programmes to continue their learning. You’ll also have knowledge of working across the lifespan, a contemporary understanding of communities and experience in a breadth of psychological approaches to supporting wellbeing. Plus, you’ll hold a relevant post graduate qualification and have at least five years’ relevant experience in mental health and addiction services.
This role can be based in either Auckland or Wellington. The successful applicant can elect to work between 24 – 40 hours per week.
