Let's get right to the point. We’re looking for a Clinical Lead to join our team who are taking an exciting new online mental health project from inception to household name. Someone who can bring a clinical lens to our research, collateral development, and engagement as well as being a great spokesperson and advocate.

This is a part-time position working from our Hamilton East office starting in 2019. Initially, the role will start with 2-3 days per week with the possibility to develop into a full-time role.  The days and hours will be determined with the right candidate.

This role will be responsible for the clinical leadership of an exciting new online toolset being adapted for use throughout New Zealand. You will be the public spokesperson and main advocate for our project – engaging with other clinicians, GPs, communities and the media. All while keeping an eye on best practice and clinical efficacy.

You will also have:

  • Registration with a professional body covered by the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act
  • 5 or more years’ work experience in the application of talking therapies
  • Experience analyzing and validating randomised controlled trials (RCTs)
  • An understanding of internet-based cognitive behavioural therapy (iCBT)
