Clinical Psychologist (0.8 FTE)

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist with Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) expertise to join our friendly and supportive team within an adherent DBT residential programme for Adults with emotional dysregulation. We are a unique organisation based in Golden Bay which is renowned for its strong and supportive community and its stunning location between the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks.

Te Whare Mahana is an independent charitable trust that provides a range of community-based mental health services as well as being NZ’s only residential DBT Intensive Treatment Centre.

Qualifications required: Registered Clinical Psychologist with experience in CBT and DBT. Although DBT training and experience is strongly preferred, we will invest in DBT training for an enthusiastic applicant. Must be registered with New Zealand Psychologists Board (NZPB) or be eligible for registration with NZPB. Leadership development opportunities are available. Salary offered in relation to the professional experience.

Benefits include: 4 weeks paid vacation, paid professional/registration fees, annual training budget, some flexibility in work schedule. 0.8 FTE.
