This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team of passionate Mental Health Clinicians who support one another to affect change and make a sustainable difference in the lives of tamariki, rangatahi, their whānau and their communities they work with.
This role offers great variety, including a combination of both group and individual work as well as work within the DHB and the community. You will work with a number of specialists both internally and externally, so you will need the ability to maintain excellent working relationships with these groups of people.
About the Service
We are the DHB provider arm of ICAMHS in central Hamilton. We provide specialist services for infants, children/tamariki and adolescents/rangatahi who are experiencing serious mental health challenges. There is a strong emphasis on family/ whānau involvement in their recovery journey. As a community-based service, we are open Monday to Friday.
About You
Ideally, you will have the knowledge and skills to practice as a Real Skills Plus CAMHS - Core Level practitioner (https://werryworkforce.org/real-skills-plus-camhs).
