We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team here at Fraser McDonald Unit.

Fraser McDonald Unit (FMU) is a 15 bed acute in-patient admission ward located on the Auckland City Hospital site for people over the age of 65 years experiencing acute mental illness or behavioural difficulties associated with dementia.

In this role, you will use your specialist skills working collaboratively and embedded with the multidisciplinary teams. You will be able to provide psychological assessment, treatment and management of complex health needs in collaboration with service users and their families/whānau.

This role is permanent, part time, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will be registered with the NZ Psychologists Board with a current Practising Certificate (Clinical Scope of practice) or be eligible for same. An interest and aptitude for working with older people is essential.
