Permanent 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist to join the Gore Community Mental Health team.

Gore CMHT is an innovative service, looking to develop our model of delivery towards a stepped care approach.  Clinicians are motivated to provide optimal treatment through thorough assessment and continued multi-disciplinary team co-ordination of treatment.  This is an adult mental health role which combines assessment, treatment and psychotherapy for people experiencing both acute and longstanding psychological conditions and issues.

The Clinical Psychologist is an integral and valued member of the multidisciplinary team responsible for the provision of patient-centred interventions.

The Southern region of New Zealand offers excellent amenities, schooling, housing and recreation. We’re home to the most beautiful landscapes in NZ, if it’s the great outdoors that presses your buttons; and we’re within easy reach of Queenstown if its adrenalin you seek.  It’s all here waiting - the opportunity to create a fantastic work/life balance is within your reach.

To be eligible for consideration you must be a Registered Clinical Psychologist with the NZ Psychologist’s Board, hold a current practising certificate and NZ driver’s licence.

If this sounds like a role that suits your skill set and you like working in a supportive MDT, in a beautiful part of the country where there are no traffic jams and housing is affordable then contact us today.
