Based at the Kari Centre in Greenlane, Regional Youth Forensic Service (RYFS) is a regionally focussed multi-disciplinary team whose primary role is the assessment of children and adolescents involved in the Youth Justice systems, preparing formal reports on their mental health needs for the Courts and other agencies, and providing short term therapies and consultation to a small number of young people. We also provide clinical services to young people in secure residential care, and Court liaison services.
Due to increased demand and growth of the service, we are looking for a Clinical Psychologist. It is essential that you are a NZ Registered Clinical Psychologist.
We are looking for a dynamic clinician who have experience in child and adolescent work, and preferably forensic services, and be able to provide comprehensive to mental health assessments, deliver effective evidence based treatment strategies for young people who present to the service, and work collaboratively with other team members and other services. A high standard of report writing is required.
