Achieving the best health outcomes for whaiora and whānau starts with expecting the best from ourselves. Right now our Community Māori Mental Health and Addiction Service based in Whangārei are looking for innovative, enthusiastic, positive and self-driven individuals with experience and understanding in mental health to join them in improving Māori Health within Te Tai Tokerau.

There are two positions available – one full time working 40 hours per week, and another part time working 32 hours per week.
To be successful you will need to:
- Be registered with the NZ Psychologists Board and hold a current Practicing Certificate
- Hold a full drivers licence
- Have an understanding and competency in Tikanga and Te Reo Māori
- Be able to demonstrate a proactive attitude towards eliminating inequities and continual quality improvement
- Have a proven logical and evidence-based approach to problem-solving that improves health outcomes for whaiora and whānau through their journey with Mental Health and Addictions services
