AOTS provides services to people dependent on opioids and supports them towards recovery (whatever that means to them). Our goal is to reduce the harms caused by dependency by providing comprehensive assessment, stabilisation on medication, individual recovery planning using motivational interviewing and a long-term treatment approach where required.
The service is currently seeking an experienced alcohol and drug clinician with proven clinical and supervision skills to provide high quality clinical supervision to designated staff and to oversee staff performance, to co-ordinate all activities of the unit, and to provide clinical services to the clients of our busy outpatient OST service based in South Auckland. You will also make a substantial contribution to the leadership of the team and to on-going clinical service quality and improvement.

A Post Graduate Certificate in Mental Health and/or Addictions, a relevant professional registration and experience within Alcohol and Drug or Mental Health is required, A qualification as a DAPAANZ Accredited Clinical Supervisor is also required and previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
