Community Clinical Reliever - (Community Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker)

The details: Permanent – full and part time positions

We are seeking mental health professionals to join our teams providing community based services for individuals that require specialist mental health and addiction support.

About the service:

The mental health and addictions service deliver a variety of services across the Waikato region. We are a service undertaking a huge programme of change to deliver better outcomes for tāngata whai ora and their whānau in our region. Nga iwi Ngakaunui - People at Heart is clearly demonstrated in the mental health and addictions service. We know how important strong relationships are; with people who access our services, with their whānau and with the communities we serve.

With tangata whaiora based both locally and rurally, these roles provide an exciting opportunity to work closely with the communities in which people live and support better outcomes.

Required skills & experience:

• Exhibit a person centred approach.

• Be innovative and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team as well as autonomously.

• Well-developed time management skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritise tasks.

• Have experience working in mental health and addictions.

• Be able to coordinate care and provide therapeutic interventions.

• Enjoy working as part of a MDT.

• Hold a current full driver’s license.

• Hold a current annual practicing certificate.
