Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for Mental Health Nursing? Right now, our team at Whangarei CATT (Crisis Team) are seeking experienced nurses to join us in a full time position.

The role of the Registered Mental Health Nurse / Duly Authorised Officer is to provide a responsive and robust clinical intake and assessment service that is delivered in a manner that is health equity evidenced and utilises the principles of Whanau Ora care that will enhance and enrich community tenure.

Our ideal applicant will have experience of working with tāngata whaiora and their whānau living with the effects of mental illness in our community and a proven ability to communicate well with tāngata whaiora, their whānau and colleagues, and engage Māori in making choices that enhance their wellbeing.

A commitment to improving health outcomes, cultural safety and quality of care for Māori is desired.

It is essential you hold a current clean licence as the role is community based. The successful applicant will work alongside other Kai Mahi Māori within a supportive team environment of health professionals that is committed to delivering an excellent clinical and cultural service that reflects the needs of our tāngata whaiora and their whānau.
