Community Mental Health Nurse - Thames

About the service:

The Rural North Sector provides a range of secondary care mental health services across the Coromandel Peninsula and Hauraki region. Our base is at the Manaaki Centre in Thames with outreach clinics located in several other towns.

We enjoy close relationships with our local NGO and PHO partners and are underway with a project to work in meaningful partnership with Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki, a kaupapa-based PHO mental health service provider.

We are a busy service looking to recruit more dedicated and skilled clinicians to meet the ever-growing demand for effective mental health care.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our North MDT, providing keyworking and skilled nursing care.

Ideally you will have:

• Post-registration education or experience specific to mental health care

• Registration with the NZ Nursing Council

• A current annual practising certificate that enables you to work in mental health

• A current full NZ driving licence.
