The details: Permanent – 80 hours per fortnight
We are looking for an experienced community mental health nurse to join our triage team.
About the service:
Our mental health and addictions service is committed to continuous quality improvement, this position will offer opportunities to be a part of service development and strengthening the way we support our community.
About the role:
The triage team plays a vital role in community mental health and addictions service, receiving all referrals into the service and ensuring they are either referred on to an appropriate community service or are brought into the appropriate team. We also offer a short term pathway for brief interventions to support Tangata Whaiora to receive ongoing care closer to home, with their G.P’s.
We currently operate a 6 day a week service; this position will essentially be Monday to Friday working 8.00am to 4.30pm but will require occasional Saturday’s.
Required skills & experience:
Applicants must have registration with the appropriate registration body and hold a current full, clean driver’s license.
