If you enjoy wide open green spaces, cycle trails and much more, then this position could suit you. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team of culturally aware Mental Health Clinicians & Support workers dedicated to making a difference in the lives of tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau.
Based in central Hamilton this role offers great opportunities to work in a team to improve the lives of whānau who experience serious mental health issues, and to achieve equity for Māori.
We are the Waikato District Health Board Infant Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Addiction Service (ICAMHS) based in central Hamilton. We provide specialist services for infants, tamariki and rangatahi experiencing serious mental health challenges.
The team has a strong emphasis on whānau involvement in the recovery of their loved ones care. As a community-based service, we are open Monday to Friday.
You are someone committed to working in a whānau centred way that includes providing services in a way that meets the needs of all tamariki, rangatahi, whānau, hapu and Iwi. This position would suit a person committed to doing their best to achieve overall whānau wellbeing.
