About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Consumer & Family, Lived Experience Leader to join the Mental Health & Addictions Services team. The role will support the effective, efficient and culturally safe delivery of lived experience practice to tāngata whaiora in Te Tai Tokerau.
This is a permanent, part time position working 28 hours per week between Monday and Friday.
About You
Working with a passionate, multi-disciplinary team who place great value on putting people first, you will be highly motivated and have excellent communication and computer skills. You will also have:
· Relevant experience with mental health and additions sector
· Experience working in a lived experience role
· Training or qualification relevant to the lived experience workforce
· Leadership experience with an understanding of engaging with communities and Whanau by working collaboratively
· Current Drivers Licence
Project management, group facilitation; whānau and community work experience desirable (but not essential).
