DBT Psychologist

PPT / 24hr-week plus on-call rotation

Te Whare Mahana (TWM) is an independent charitable trust that provides a range of community based mental health services and NZ’s only residential Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. It is a unique organisation based in Takaka renowned for its strong and supportive community and its stunning location between the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks.

We seek a psychologist with DBT expertise or interested in building DBT expertise while enjoying a relaxed lifestyle in one of New Zealand’s top destinations. Join our friendly and supportive team within an adherent DBT residential programme for adults with emotional dysregulation.

Qualification required: Registered Psychologists with CBT training/experience!

DBT training/experience strongly preferred, and we will invest in an enthusiastic applicant. Leadership development opportunities are available. Salary offered to the professional experience.

Benefits include: 4 weeks paid vacation, paid professional/registration fees, annual training budget, some flexibility in work schedule. 0.6 FTE with additional hours negotiable.
