Workwise employment consultants have a really unique job. We work with people who are facing personal or health challenges and help them to find and keep work.

Are you someone who enjoys making a difference in people’s lives? You will work closely with people accessing community mental health and addictions support, social services, government agencies, training providers and employers.

No two days are the same as an employment consultant. We work alongside people and their whanau, who have a range of backgrounds, cultures and experiences

There is a full-time position available, working Monday- Friday.

The Team

You’ll be reporting to the team leader and joining our Auckland team. The team covers South, Central and West Auckland.

  • good at building relationships and excited by achieving results for people and communities
  • love being part of a team, but can confidently work independently
  • able to think quickly and problem-solve effectively
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • are experienced working in the social service, addiction, youth, mental health, disability, employment or aligned sectors

Applicants must hold the New Zealand Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or a recognised equivalent. Alternatively, you can commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment with Workwise. We offer significant support to complete this study, please feel free to contact us to discuss.

We will support you by ensuring you have the tools needed to be successful, including access to a laptops, cars and mobile phone. We offer generous annual and sick leave and good opportunities for training and development.
