Workwise employment consultants / kairapu tūranga mahi work with people who are facing personal or health challenges and help them to find and keep work.
Are you someone who enjoys making a difference in people’s lives? You will work closely with people accessing community mental health and addictions support, social services, government agencies, training providers and employers.
No two days are the same as an employment consultant. We work alongside people and their whānau, who have a range of backgrounds, cultures and experiences. Cultural competence is essential and we particularly encourage Māori and Pacific people to apply.
Permanent, full-time position available, working Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm (with some flexibility possible). This role is based in our central Wellington office and serving the wider region of Whanganui-a-Tara.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Are experienced working in the social service, addiction, youth, mental health, disability, employment or aligned sectors.
It is preferred that applicants hold the New Zealand Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or a recognised equivalent. Alternatively, you can commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment with Workwise. The Covid-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 requires staff working in health-related services to be fully vaccinated (this includes any subsequent boosters).
