He kōrero mō te tūranga - The role

You'll provide support to both our Group Chief Financial Officer (John Cook) and Group Director of People (Zak Sutton). This means there will be plenty of variety in your day.

The role can be based in our Lower Hutt or Porirua office.

He kōrero mōu - About you

Our ideal candidate will have strong people skills, a great sense of humour, and professionalism but more importantly, you will be ambitious and care about getting things done.

You will be excited to work in a for purpose organisation and see the positive results we achieve in the work we do. While you may have an administrative background or be a recent graduate, it's your energy, drive and initiative that will set you apart from the pack.

In addition, you will have the following:

  • Brilliant organising skills
  • Confidence with using technology
  • Lots of energy and enthusiasm
  • High level of communication - both written and verbal

You'll develop yourself a reputation for using your initiative, anticipating needs and continuously look for ways to improve the mahi we do!

Our team culture is very important to us. We build each other up, support one another and celebrate each other's success both personally and professionally. We love to have fun, drink coffee and laugh a lot - the conversation ranges from food and whānau, to travel and fitness.

Ko tā mātou mahi - We offer

In addition to being a key support to our Group Directors, you'll be doing so in a national organisation with opportunities for you to grow and develop. You'll join a group of people that live by our values - which means you can take pride in not just what we achieve, but how we achieve it.

Importantly, we advocate for your wellbeing! With three days of wellbeing leave on offer, and a flexible working environment, you can proactively manage your health and wellbeing.

And finally, you'll want to work here because we are committed to diversity and inclusion. Come as you are, and just be you!
